When Chelsea Pierre received the Nebraska For Us Small Business Grant, she used the moment to encourage the other entrepreneurs in the room. She reminded them that their presence was not accidental and reframed the award—not simply as personal recognition, but as an opportunity to use her platform to affirm their purpose, perseverance, and potential.

Founder in the community
As an adjunct professor at Metropolitan Community College, Chelsea teaches college students preparing to enter and advance in technology careers.
She creates Cyber Defense and Security Information and Event Management—or SIEM—courses for online learning platforms, including Pluralsight.
Through mentorship, instruction, and employment pathways, she works to make technology careers more visible and attainable for the next generation.
